Product CategoryPON1 is synthesized primarily in the liver, and a portion is secreted into the plasma, where it is associated with high density lipoproteins (HDL). PON1 hydrolyzes the active metabolites of several other organophosphorus insecticides, as well as nerve agents such as sarin, soman and VX (lethal nerve agent). The PON1 polymorphism may be responsible for neurodegeneration and is considered to be an independent risk factor for Parkinson’s disease.
DNA-dependent RNA polymerase catalyzes the transcription of DNA into RNA using the four ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates. Largest and catalytic component of RNA polymerase II which synthesizes mRNA precursors and many functional non-coding RNAs. Forms the polymerase active center together with the second largest subunit. Pol II is the central component of the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. It is composed of mobile elements that move relative to each other. RPB1 is

The p21 activated kinases (PAK) are critical effectors that link Rho GTPases to cytoskeleton reorganization and nuclear signaling. The PAK proteins are a family of serine/threonine kinases that serve as targets for the small GTP binding proteins, CDC42 and RAC1, and have been implicated in a wide range of biological activities. The protein encoded by this gene is activated by proteolytic cleavage during caspase-mediated apoptosis, and may play a role in regulating the apoptotic events in th

NUP50 is a component of the nuclear pore complex that has a direct role in nuclear protein export. NUP50 may serve as a binding site on the nuclear side of the pore complex for export receptor-cargo complexes. NUP50 interacts with multiple transport receptor proteins including p27Kip1. This interaction is required for correct intracellular transport and degradation of p27Kip1.
